Members of the Soviet junior hockey team will play under threat of suspension for the rest of this season because of their brawl with a Canadian team during the World Junior championships, the Soviet newspaper Izvestia reported.
The action represents a suspension of penalties imposed in the wake of the fight in Prague Jan. 4.
Originally, the Soviet Hockey Federation banned seven players for the rest of 1987 because of the incident Jan. 4 and banned the rest of the team for the rest of this season.
