Aw, come on, fellas, get off Jane Fonda’s back already (Calendar Letters, Feb. 1).

You can’t abide her unfortunate picture taken on an anti-aircraft gun?

A lot of us couldn’t abide the pictures of bodies that haunted us night after night on the news.

Fonda was a voice for a lot of us who simply wanted our boys home, out of an illegal and undeclared war we couldn’t and didn’t win. Her protests weren’t anti-American--they were pro life!
