Harkey Pitches Fullerton Past Cal, 9-3
Cal State Fullerton pitcher Mike Harkey pitched a complete game Saturday, allowing one earned run, to lead the Titan baseball team to a 9-3 victory over Cal at Berkeley’s Evans Diamond.
Harkey (1-1) struck out five and walked five. The Titans scored three runs in the second inning and three in the sixth. Fullerton’s Mark Baca had three hits and three RBIs, and Ken Garcia had three hits and one RBI.
Fullerton (5-7) concludes its series with Cal (11-3) today at 1 at Evans Diamond.
