A groom-to-be, celebrating his upcoming wedding with friends, was among more than 100 suspects arrested by undercover police officers during a weekend crackdown on prostitutes and their customers in Hollywood. Police arrested 37 would-be customers, men who allegedly offered undercover officers money for sex. Another 76, most of them men and many of them dressed as women, were arrested for offering to perform sex for money, Los Angeles Police Lt. Rich Wemmer said. The groom-to-be, whom police declined to identify, was riding in a van filled with his friends when he was arrested after allegedly soliciting an undercover female officer.
