Orange Light Streaks Across Northeast Sky

ALBANY, N.Y. — An orange light with a green tail seen streaking across the Northeast sky Thursday night could have been a meteorite or a decaying piece of a satellite, the National Weather Service said Friday.
The fast-moving light was seen in upstate New York, Boston, New York City and Connecticut, authorities said.
