Laurette Maritz of United States International University shot a second-round 74 Saturday to maintain a one-stroke lead in the Patty Sheehan Women’s Collegiate Invitational at Monterey.
Marnie McGuire of Oklahoma State shot a 70 to move into second place. USIU’s Helen Alfredson is in fifth place, five strokes back.
