Virginia’s State Corporation Commission issued an injunction barring six corporations linked to political extremist Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. from continuing an allegedly illegal fund-raising network. Atty. Gen. Mary Sue Terry charged that the six Leesburg firms were involved in a $30-million scam to sell unregistered promissory notes--primarily to senior citizens.
