Hinckley Abuzz With Sign of Spring on Wing
Associated Press
HINCKLEY, Ohio — Several buzzards were spotted flying over this northeast Ohio town Sunday, and their timely arrival was greeted as a harbinger of spring despite the snow-covered landscape.
The return of the big birds set off a day of festivities in Hinckley Township, about 30 miles south of Cleveland. Every March 15, the turkey vultures wing their way to a roost in a park in the community of about 5,400 people.
