Doctors’ Office Plaza Begun at Medical Center
Construction has begun on the CMC Medical Plaza, a $7-million, 60,000-square-foot medical office building on the campus of California Medical Center-Los Angeles.
Located at 1414 S. Grand Ave., the four-story building will accommodate about 50 new medical offices and a pharmacy. The facility, designed to complement California Medical Center’s new $57-million Patient Care Tower, is expected to be completed in August.
The Plaza was designed by the Nadel Partnership of Santa Monica, and is being built by Burbank-based McCormick Construction Co. Tax-exempt bond financing was obtained by the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency.
