Amplicon Inc. Plans Initial Public Offering of 1.65 Million Shares
Amplicon Inc., a computer leasing company based in Santa Ana, is planning an initial public offering of 1.65 million shares of common stock at $12 to $14 a share.
The company will offer 1.4 million of the shares and the rest will be sold by the company’s principal owners, a company spokesman said. The money raised from the sale will finance the 10-year-old company’s growth, the spokesman added.
The sale is expected to be completed by early April. After the sale, there will be 6.5 million shares outstanding. Amplicon leases and sells business computers and other electronic equipment. Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. and E. F. Hutton & Co. Inc. are co-managing the underwriting group.
