An explosion ripped through a house near the San Jose Airport, and a neighbor rescued a burning woman from a bedroom window, firefighters said. The explosion, apparently caused by natural gas, blew the windows out of the home and ignited the blaze that heavily damaged the house, fire officials said. Joyce Enriquez, 40, apparently asleep when the explosion occurred, was reported in “very critical condition” at a hospital with third-degree burns over more than 90% of her body. Emmett Coker, 35, who lives across the street, said the explosion “sounded like a bomb. The ground shook. The girl was at the back window yelling. I pulled her out, and another neighbor threw water on her.”
