Regardless of what happens to his career on ABC, Max Headroom will be back this summer for at least six more shows on Cinemax (his old home), the cable network announced Thursday. Taped before a live audience in New York, the shows will feature live (as opposed to computer-generated) guests and musical guest spots. Despite a strong lead-in from “Moonlighting” his first time out on ABC, “Max Headroom” finished only 26th in the latest Nielsen ratings--meaning Max lost an estimated 11 million TV homes from the “Moonlighting” audience that night.
