About 400 self-proclaimed “Ralphies” gathered in Chicago over the weekend for what will probably be the last annual convention of the Royal Association for the Longevity and Preservation of “The Honeymooners” (RALPH). The group was founded four years ago to persuade broadcasters to revive the 1950s series. “We’re victims of our own success,” said organization founder Peter Crescenti of Huntington, N.Y. “We became a catalyst. A whole new generation discovered Ralph and Ed (Norton) and loved them. Now, they’re available in most major markets.”
