A La Costa, Calif., mother who says Ewoks are too violent for children wants to pull a book titled “Ewoks Join the Fight” from library shelves featuring the fuzzy little creatures created by George Lucas. “Every page except for three has some sort of violence--somebody gets knocked down or the Death Star is destroyed,” said Lynn Eschback, a member of the “Beyond War” pacifist organization. Eschback has filed an official protest with the La Costa Library Board of Trustees.
