Southern California businessman Manuel R. Caldera has been elected to the boards of directors of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals.
Caldera, 55, founded Hawthorne-based Amex Systems in 1971 and sold the electronics firm in 1984 to Allied-Signal Corp.’s Bendix Aerospace operation. He now heads Caldera Co., a Los Angeles consulting firm.
