William J. Horton has been elected president and chief executive of Munson Sporting Goods Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Intermark Inc, the companies said Monday.
Kelly W. Munson, who has been associated with Munson for more than 25 years, was elected chairman, and founder Ward R. Munson, who has served as chairman of the company he founded in 1946, will serve as a consultant.
Munson, which reported revenue of about $40 million in 1986, is a leading wholesale distributor of fishing, hunting, camping, marine and athletic equipment.
