Jack A. Scott will receive a salary of $85,000 a year, plus an automobile and other fringe benefits, when he becomes president of Pasadena City College on Aug. 1.
The Pasadena Community College District also will pay Scott’s moving expenses, the board of trustees announced at its meeting last week. Scott’s contract will extend through 1990.
Scott, now president of Cypress College in Orange County, was named earlier this month to succeed John Casey, retiring president, whose salary is $89,000 a year.
