The Region : 2 More AIDS Testing Centers Opened
Los Angeles County has opened two more AIDS testing centers to alleviate long waits at existing facilities. The centers are located at the Ruth Temple Health Center, 3834 S. Western Ave., and the Roybal Comprehensive Health Center, 245 S. Fetterly Ave. The county had been under attack by Assemblyman Mike Roos (D-Los Angeles) and the gay community for not establishing additional centers. AIDS tests are free and confidential. Information is available 24 hours a day by calling 260-3033.
