La Palma : Woman and Daughter Stable After Accident

A woman and her daughter, injured over the weekend when a suspected drunk driver rammed their car broadside, were listed in stable but guarded condition Monday at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Betty Miner, 28, of La Palma and her 6-month-old daughter Eva were injured late Saturday when a man allegedly ran a red light at Moody Street and La Palma Avenue, police said.
Miner’s husband, Michael, 28, and their sons Mark, 3, and Michael, 2, were also injured and taken to UCI Medical Center, where they were treated and released.
Daniel Anthony McManus,) 20, of Chino was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving and is being held in County Jail on $10,000 bail, authorities said.
The driver of a third car involved in the accident, Andrea Benson, 17, of Cypress, was treated at the scene.
