Clippers to Talk to MacLeod, Shue
Clipper President Alan Rothenberg said the club will interview ex-Phoenix Suns Coach John MacLeod and ex-Philadelphia 76er Coach Gene Shue for the club’s vacant head coaching position this week.
MacLeod will be interviewed today and Shue will speak with Clipper officials Tuesday.
“Hopefully we can make a decision sometime later in the week,” Rothenberg said.
Don Chaney, who coached the Clippers to the third worst record in the history of the NBA, was fired just two days after the season ended last month.
