San Diego
A 24-year-old man was arrested without incident Saturday in the apparently drug-related killings of two brothers in their East San Diego apartment May 15, authorities said.
Victor Carrasco, of the 3400 block of Boston Avenue in San Diego, was arrested at his home on suspicion of murder in the deaths of Jose Luna, 34, and his brother Jesus, 31, a San Diego police spokesman said.
The Luna brothers were shot to death about 3 a.m. in their apartment in the 4700 block of Home Avenue by two intruders, police said. The motive for the killings appears to involve drugs, the spokesman said, adding that more arrests are expected.
Carrasco was booked into County Jail downtown.
