Syncor Sells Its Berkeley Diagnostics Subsidiary
Syncor International said it sold its California Integrated Diagnostics subsidiary in Berkeley to The InFerGene Co. for stock worth about $630,000.
Under the agreement, Syncor, a Chatsworth-based nuclear pharmacy supplier, will receive 350,000 shares of common stock in InFerGene, a Benicia, Calif.-based biotechnology company. California Integrated sells diagnostic kits for sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia.
