11-Month-Old Baby Falls Into Mop Bucket, Drowns

CHICAGO — An 11-month-old boy fell headfirst into a bucket of water that his mother had used to mop the floor and drowned Monday, police said. The baby’s mother found him shortly after he fell in, but efforts to revive him failed, police said.
