A man convicted and condemned for abducting, raping and bludgeoning to death a 13-year-old girl was executed by injection in the state prison in Huntsville, Tex. Anthony Charles Williams, who had been spared by appeals from three previously scheduled executions, was calm as he awaited execution, playing dominoes with his guards, said David Nunnelee, Texas Corrections Department spokesman. His execution was the fifth in the nation this year.
