Roberto Guerrero won the pole for today’s Miller American 200 with a record-tying lap at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Speedway in Milwaukee.
Guerrero’s Cosworth-powered March turned a lap in 152.905 m.p.h., equaling the track record set last year by Michael Andretti.
Guerrero picked up a point for winning the pole, moving him into a tie with Mario Andretti for the lead in the CART-PPG Indy car standings with 39 points.
