SEMINARS ON WRITING FOR TV OFFERED
UC Irvine Extension will offer four seminars on writing for TV on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning July 25.
On July 25, Emmy award-winning writer Karyl Miller will speak on “Everything You Wanted to Know About Situation Comedies But Were Afraid to Ask.”
On Aug. 1, Karen Hall, supervising producer of the show “Moonlighting,” will discuss writing drama and comedy.
On Aug. 8, writer Judy Burns, whose credentials include writing for “Mission Impossible” and “Star Trek,” will speak on “Writing for Action/Adventure Shows.”
Date and speaker for the final seminar will be announced later. Fee for the workshops is $40 each, or $120 for the series. For information, call (714) 856-5414.
