San Francisco announced it will bid to be named host city for the 1990-1991 America’s Cup.
The San Francisco America’s Cup Committee, formed by Mayor Dianne Feinstein, also announced plans for the development of a permanent international Sailing Center at Piers 24 and 26 on The City’s waterfront.
