California Landscape Awarded Valley Chapter Sweepstakes
California Landscape Inc., Canoga Park, received the Sweepstakes Award from the San Fernando Valley chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Assn. for the best entry in all categories at the chapter’s 28th annual beautification awards ceremony.
The winning job was for the Filmland Corp. building, Culver City, and the award, presented at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills, was sponsored by Valley Crest Tree Co.
The F. H. Arklin Award, for the project best exhibiting excellence in craftsmanship, went to American Landscape Inc., Canoga Park, for the Trillium project in Warner Center, Woodland Hills. The award was sponsored by Southland Sod Farms.
The Excelsior Award, for excellence in a first-year member, went to Greenit Landscape, Sylmar, for the Grupe Development Corp.’s Laurelwood model homes in Camarillo. The award was sponsored by Rain Bird Sales Inc.
