A federal judge refused to dismiss two lawsuits against Ivan F. Boesky and several Boesky-controlled companies brought by investors who claimed that the convicted stock speculator misled them in a $1-billion investment partnership. The suits also named as defendants the firm Drexel Burnham Lambert, investment banker for the Boesky partnership, and two former investment bankers, Dennis B. Levine and Martin A. Siegel, who have admitted supplying Boesky with insider trading information. The suits, filed last March by British brewing giant Guinness Enterprises and a group of 40 limited partners, seek the return of investment with interest and legal fees.
