Manila, last year’s U.S. turf champion, was among 14 horses selected to compete in the seventh running of the Budweiser-Arlington Million next month at Chicago.

The 1-mile race, to be run Sept. 6, features one of the deepest fields in the history of the event.

Seven of the horses are American-bred, including Manila, Theatrical, Dance of Light, Explosive Darling, Ferdinand, Rivlia and Sharood.
