The Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts has named four officers and five directors to one-year terms. They are: Danford E. Hand, vice president at Scudder, Stevens & Clark Inc., president; Phyllis G. Thomas, vice president at the Boston Corp. of Southern California, vice president-programs; Jean V. Keatley, vice president at Summit Management Co., treasurer, and Robert W. Bissell, vice president at Wells Fargo Bank, secretary. Directors are Carl Dorf, RNC Capital Management; Ray D’Elia, Capital Research; Edward K. Dantler, Wells Fargo Bank; Shelley Grudin, vice president with Hughes Investment Management Corp, and Eric T. Smith, vice president at Van Deventer & Hoch.
