Poway Business Park’s First 4 Buildings Near Completion
A December completion is scheduled for the first four buildings in the 120-acre first phase of the $100-million, 660-acre Pomerado Business Park being developed in Poway by Cadillac Fairview Industrial Development Inc., Los Angeles.
Poway City Manager Jim Bowersox predicted that firms in the park, expected to be fully developed by about 1995, will add about 7,000 jobs and contribute in excess of $1 million a year in retail sales tax to the city.
Pomerado is the first and largest development in the 2,400-acre South Poway Planning Area industrial/commercial community east of Pomerado Road and south of Metate Lane, according to Romik Kesian, Cadillac Fairview vice president and regional manager.
The four buildings owned by Cadillac Fairview have a total of 237,000 square feet. They range in size from 21,000 to 126,000 square feet and are designed by Krommenhoek/McKeown & Associates, San Diego. The contractor is Neilsen Construction Co., San Diego, and the marketing agent is the La Jolla office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.
