Honda Motor Corp. of Japan scrapped plans to build motorcycles in Vietnam. It said it made the decision in support of a U.S. trade embargo on the Southeast Asian country. The Honda announcement came as the U.S. Senate unanimously approved an amendment to a defense authorization bill condemning Japan’s growing economic ties with Vietnam.
