A Kansas City, Mo., truck driver barred from switching between movies at a Lexington, Ky., multi-plex theater crashed his tractor-trailer into the theater’s main lobby Sunday night, police said. Clarence M. Dees, 46, apparently bought a ticket for one of 10 movies showing at North Park Cinemas, left the movie and entered a second. When he tried to return to the first movie, ushers blocked his way, asking him to leave when he became upset. Dees promised to return to the lobby with his truck--and did. “He told us if he hadn’t gotten wedged in, he would have went in further,” police Capt. Fred Williamson said. “He said he wanted to put it in there far enough to see the movie he paid to watch.” Dees was charged with wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
