United Education Plans to Sell 1 Million Shares
United Education & Software in Encino said it plans to file a registration statement on or about October 14 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 1 million shares of additional common stock. United Education is traded through NASDAQ on the over-the-counter market.
Proceeds of the offering will be used to reduce debt, for working capital and for possible acquisitions.
United Education & Software owns and operates 26 private career schools throughout the United States and a home study school serving students in 70 countries.
