Lee Marvin Is Buried With Military Honors

WASHINGTON — Actor Lee Marvin was buried with military honors in Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, following a private memorial service.
The tough guy of films made 21 landings in battle zones while serving with the Marine Corps during World War II. He was wounded at Saipan and spent 13 months in the hospital.
Marvin died Aug. 29 at the Tucson Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.
