Hewlett-Packard said it will offer a voluntary severance plan to as many as 259 workers at plants in Colorado and New Jersey. The Palo Alto-based company said it expects about 200 people to accept the offer, which includes payment of six to 12 months’ worth of salary and benefits. Hewlett-Packard is offering the furloughs to employees in Colorado facilities in Colorado Springs, Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley, and in Rockaway, N.J., said spokesman Greg Piburn.
