In this two-hour special, Jean-Michael Cousteau and his crew encounter a variety of sea life and examine the competition between man and the local sea mammals for the area’s bounty of fish, abalone and kelp.

“Star Trek: The Next Generation,” a new series from the creators of the original, will arrive with its first weekly installment Sunday at 5 p.m. on Channel 13. Manned by a new cast of characters that includes a French captain and a blind pilot, the Enterprise will zoom peacefully into the 24th Century.
