Lazers Stop Sockers in Overtime, 6-5

Thompson Usyan’s third goal of the game, one minute into overtime, gave the Los Angeles Lazers a 6-5 victory over the Sockers in a Major Indoor Soccer League exhibition opener at Los Angeles.

Usyan scored his first goal midway through the first quarter to give the Lazers a 2-0 lead. His second goal, early in the third quarter, put the Lazers ahead, 4-3.
