Rookie Clipper Center Out of Tonight’s Exhibition
Rookie center Martin Nesley of the Clippers will miss tonight’s exhibition game against the Atlanta Hawks at Huntington, W. Va., because of bruised ribs.
Nesley was injured when he was elbowed Tuesday night in the Clippers’ 110-91 loss to the Hawks at Memphis, Tenn. He returned to Los Angeles for an examination and is expected to be out indefinitely.
Gminski led the Nets (1-5) with 25 points.
