A conference on “Getting the Entry Level Job in the Chemical Industry,” jointly sponsored by Rancho Santiago College and the American Chemical Society, Orange County Section, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday. It is designed for students at high school, community college and university levels who are seeking careers in science. It will be held in Russell Hall, Room R-126, on the RSC Santa Ana Campus, 17th Street at Bristol Street, in Santa Ana.

Emphasizing job opportunities in Orange County, the conference features local industry leaders in a discussion of issues that tie into the observance of National Chemistry Day. The national celebration was started by the American Chemical Society to provide opportunities for chemists to present to the public the benefits of chemistry in everyday life.
