Scan-Tron, a Tustin-based optical equipment manufacturer, has bought a Feasterville, Pa., printing facility and educational computer software business from Cognitronics of Stamford, Conn., for $2 million cash. In a separate transaction, Scan-Tron and Cognitronics announced an agreement under which Scan-Tron will have exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights for an optical mark reader designed by Cognitronics.
