Gerald Murray, the starting center for San Diego State’s basketball team, was suspended from the team indefinitely following his arrest on drug charges for the second time this fall.

Murray, 22, a senior from Detroit, allegedly sold an unspecified amount of rock cocaine to an undercover policeman.

Murray was suspended from the team after his first arrest but subsequently was reinstated when the district attorney’s office declined to formally charge him, citing a lack of evidence.
