Coca-Cola and ABC’s “Moonlighting” plan to team up for the “first ever three-dimensional television episode and commercial,” the network announced Thursday at its annual winter press tour. The 1988 season finale will feature action scenes in “Coca-Cola Nuoptix 3D,” a new video technology which the company says ensures clearer quality than previous 3D efforts. During the episode, Coca-Cola will run a 60-second 3-D commercial plug for classic Coke. 3D glasses will be available through participating grocery, convenience and fast-food outlets.
