Telecast of Pianist Watts to Mark Debut 25 Years Ago

Pianist Andre Watts will mark the 25th anniversary of his 1963 debut with the New York Philharmonic in a telecast of “Live From Lincoln Center” airing Jan. 13 on PBS.
Watts who first performed with the Philharmonic as a soloist in a Young People’s Concert at age 16, will play concertos by Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. Zubin Mehta will conduct the orchestra.
