Wavetek reported that net income rose by 1% to $703,000 for the first quarter ended Jan. 2, compared to $691,000 during the previous year’s first quarter. Revenue rose by 10% to $20.9 million, up from $18.9 million during the previous first quarter.

Wavetek President John Battin linked the increases to “strength in our Datron and German divisions in Europe and in our RF Products division in Indianapolis.”
