Quaker State Corp. has named Roger A. Markle, president and chief operating officer, and Jack W. Corn, a Quaker State distributor in the southeast United States, to be vice chairmen.
Markle will supervise the company’s operating subsidiaries: Valley Camp Coal Co., Oil City, Pa.; Truck-Lite Co., Falconer, N.Y.; Heritage Insurance Group, Agoura Hills; and Quaker State Minit-Lube, Inc., the company’s fast lube subsidiary headquartered in Salt Lake City. The titles of president and chief operating officer will be vacated. Corn was elected as a director and a member the executive committee. He will assume full responsibility for the motor oil segment of the company’s business.
