The ninth annual Black History Parade in Santa Ana starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, winding from 15th and Main streets and ending at about 4th and Ross streets. A festival will follow at Birch Park, with awards, a fashion show and entertainment, including gospel singing and performances by the Orange County Black Actors Theatre. The event is sponsored by Santa Ana and the Orange County Black Historical Commission, in honor of Black History Month.
