Weather’s Right for the Kickoff
Weather for Super Bowl XXII will be near-perfect by game time.
The weather today is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures around 63 degrees by the 3:17 p.m. kickoff. By game’s end the temperature should decrease to about 57 degrees.
While the afternoon winds will range between 8 to 12 m.p.h., they are not expected to have any effect on the game.
“There will be fine weather for the Super Bowl. The weather will have no significance on the game. The players will have to do everything themselves,” National Weather Service Forecaster Dan Atkin said.
