Visa cards will get a new look, designed to give financial institutions more space to display their names and logos. Except for a blue, white and gold Visa logo in the lower right corner and a hologram of a dove above it, the entire card is free for identification of the issuing financial institution, according to San Mateo, Calif.-based Visa USA, a membership association of Visa card issuers that administers the Visa program in the United States. In all, 85% of the surface will be available to the issuing institution.
